Start here
Floatback is an app that helps you stop feeling the weight. It's a space for self-guided EMDR and self-discovery, somewhere you can sit with what's on your mind, at your own pace, and slowly set some of it down.
You don't need the right words, or a clear reason, or to feel “ready.” You just need to show up. Here's what that looks like.
It starts with a conversation
The first thing you'll do is talk. A gentle, get-to-know-you chat with your coach, in your own words, about what's been sitting with you. There's no script and no clock. You share only what you want to share, and you can step away and come back whenever you need to.
There's nothing you need to get right here. You can take your time, and we can stop whenever you need to. I'm just here with you.
Then you'll see your map
From that first conversation, Floatback builds your map: a quiet picture of your inner landscape, with you at the center and the experiences, patterns, and beliefs around you, showing how they connect. It takes a moment to build the first time. The map is yours to return to, and it grows as you do.
Going deeper, when you're ready
From there, you can keep talking things through in Explore, or move into an EMDR sitting: a more focused space where you gently work with one thing at a time and notice what shifts. There's no rush to get here. Some people explore for a while first, and that's completely fine.
You're always in control
Nothing here is required, and nothing moves faster than you do. You can pause, step away, or stop at any moment, and a sitting always has a clear way out. Going slow is never the wrong choice. This is your private space, and what you share stays yours.
Floatback is a self-guided wellness tool informed by EMDR research. It isn't therapy, a diagnosis, or a crisis service, and it won't pretend to be. If you're in real distress, please reach a person. Call or text 988, or text HOME to 741741.
